Mourad, one of your host’s at Aftas Beach House will also be your guide on an unforgettable trip to the Moroccan Sahara desert.

He will share his vast knowledge and experience of this magnificent area where he was born and has spent most of his life.  

The trip leaving from AFTAS BEACH HOUSE will take you through Morocco’s stunning valleys and gorges you will visit oasis’s, palm groves and ancient kasbahs, meet Nomads and Berbers, stay in traditional Berber guest houses and experience genuine local hospitality.

The highlight of your trip is sure to be the camel ride and watching the sunset behind the vast undulating dunes

You will arrive at your camp under the stars where you will be greeted with a refreshing mint tea followed by a traditional tagine plus some music and without a doubt a few Berber jokes! before retiring  to your bed for the night in a Berber tent.

At sunrise you will begin your ride back to the guest house for traditional Berber breakfast before beginning your return journey to Aftas Beach and be greeted by the sight sound and smell of the mighty Atlantic!
